Today I was up early and went to the stable with Frouk and her mother, it was nice. I'd prefered to skip it with the trip to Deventer and all but it was still nice. Afterwards I went into Utrecht to get my trainticket and get on the train towards Amelsfoort just to switch there to a train towards Aapeldoorn (that train actually said Berlin so I got weird thoughts about falling asleep and waking up in Berlin..) I got to Deventer well in time, a bit to early even... lucky for me I found these little fellas out walking with their mum:



They keept me entertained for a bit being all cute..



Then I went to look at the room... which was a great disapointment... to start with. The house is old, the room had old vloerbetekning...the walls were quite shabby and the radiator looked like its seen better days. Theres one shower on 8 people...

In the train I got a little more positive and complied a list with pros n cons in my head.

Pros:

• 15m2 for 275€/month all incl.
• Corner room with two windows
• Really close to the station so travelling to uni will be easy
• 7 dutch housemates ought to be good for my dutch
• Only one shower = motivation to go to the gym in Zwolle and shower there instead after working out
• Could get really cosy with a little effort
• It's not for a lifetime

Cons:

• the vloerbetekking
• 1 shower on 8 people
• Shabbyness
• i'll need a fridge
• Needs painting

Hm, I was sure that the list of cons were longer... Frouk offered paint and help to paint so that would be done easilly and fast. Preferably on monday allready (if I do get it...) and then start hunting down second hand bed, a drawer atleast (need something to put my clothes in) and a low table + an armchair. Oh and a fridge, but according to my dutch teacher you can find those really cheap, just need to make sure that they work....
